Fire Engineer Consultant

Leviathan are currently recruiting for an exciting role within their growing fire engineering consultancy team. We work with a range of clients providing fire engineering and fire safety advice throughout all stages of construction and after completion. Our portfolio of high-profile clients includes NHS Trusts, large main contractors, leading education providers and foremost construction solicitors.

The ideal candidate would be university educated with a degree in a relevant subject and ideally have 3 years UK engineering experience. You must be fully conversant with the relevant codes, standards and regulations and be able to comfortably liaise with contractors, architects, project directors and solicitors on all relevant subjects.

We are particularly looking for candidates with experience in the following:

  • Production of detailed technical reports covering varying aspects of fire engineering and fire safety issues.
  • Review and interpretation of fire strategies, fire risk assessments and fire drawings and design.
  • Production of legal privilege reports and advice notes suitable and compliant for use in all levels of legal proceedings.

This will be a client facing role with travel required across the UK and with the potential for overseas travel. The position is based at our Malvern office with some flexibility for home-working for the right candidate.

Salary from £40,000 per annum

Graduate Fire Engineer

We are particularly looking for candidates with experience in the following:

Technical Administrator

Leviathan are currently recruiting for an exciting role within their administrative department. We are a growing fire engineering consultancy and we work with a range of clients providing fire engineering and fire safety advice throughout the whole life cycles of all types of buildings.

To support our continued growth we are recruiting for a Technical Administrator to provide professional, efficient and exacting technical support and project assistance to our technical consultants and Director.

Candidates should preferably be educated to degree level with considerable demonstrable evidence of high level administrative and technical roles. Ideally you will have some experience within an engineering, construction or legal environment and will have an understanding of the unique complexities found within the wider construction industry.

We are particularly looking for candidates with experience and qualifications in the following:

  • Document formatting, quality checking and proof reading
  • The full suite of MS Office 365 applications
  • Management and monitoring of document control systems, databases and electronic filling protocols
  • Population and management of Excel spreadsheets
  • Coordination and administration of live projects

We require all candidates to have at least 5 years of work experience.

This role will require high standards of written and spoken English and numeracy. You must be confident in dealing with internal and external stakeholders of all levels of seniority, be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and have a can-do approach with an ability to self-manage your own workload.

The position will be based at our central Malvern office with occasional travel within the UK. We would prefer for this position to be full time but will consider part time hours or hours suited to the school day.

Salary from £20,000 p/annum pro rata + benefits.

We are a growing fire engineering consultancy and we work with a range of clients providing fire engineering and fire safety advice throughout the whole life cycle of buildings. To help support our continued growth we are recruiting for a PA & Technical Administrator to provide professional, efficient and exacting administrative and project assistance to our technical consultants and Director.

Our ideal candidate would have 5 years experience and have considerable demonstrable evidence in high level administrative roles. Ideally you will have some experience within an engineering, construction or legal environment and understand the unique complexities found within the wider construction industry.

We are particularly looking for candidates with experience/qualifications in the following:

  • Data population, manipulation and interpretation allowing for analysis and reporting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Management and monitoring of document control systems, databases and electronic filing protocols
  • Document formatting, quality checking and proof reading
  • The full suite of MS Office 365 applications
  • Numerate and with a high standard of written and spoken English
  • Coordination and administration of live projects to include all project activities, resources and data

You must be confident in dealing with internal and external stakeholders to all levels, be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and have a can-do approach with an ability to self-manage your own workload.

The position will be based at our central Malvern office with the potential for occasional travel within the UK.

Salary from £18,000 p/annum.
