Leviathan are expert independent consultants specialising in a range of fire safety and compliance matters. We have invaluable experience identifying, mitigating and managing a variety of fire compliances across a range of infrastructure and built environment projects.
We are able to carry out in depth specialised inspections to determine non compliances within internal fire stopping and external cladding systems and provide effective and economic remediation solutions suitable for the building and its continued operation.
A growing number of NHS Trusts nationwide are appointing Leviathan as their retained Authorising Engineer (Fire) to ensure that their fire safety management systems are effectively monitored and organised to ensure the ongoing safety of their patients and staff. We are also able to provide an analytical fire engineering approach to resolve estate specific challenges.
In light of the recent Grenfell Tower tragedy many local fire brigades are carrying out detailed and more frequent visits and inspections of premises within their localities. We are able to provide building owners and duty holders with technical advice and support to avoid enforcement action or to manage remedial works required to satisfy already issued enforcement notices.
Leviathan can provide FDIS certified full fire door compliance inspections followed up by bespoke project management of all remedial works required to satisfy all regulatory and statutory compliances. Recent fire door projects have included MOD barracks facilities, full hospital surveys and school academies.
Our expert witness work focusses on detailed and specialist reports for contractors on their level of compliance and on the review and comment on expert reports authored by other fire consultants. Our recent large engagements have been received from Madeleine Abas, RPC, Addleshaws and AXA.
Leviathan are currently the retained expert witness for a commercial core participant of the Grenfell Tower Inquiry for whom we are providing detailed compliance reports and analysis concerning all fire safety issues.
